Speech and Language Therapy in Early Years and School settings

We are able to offer a bespoke package to meet the requirements of your school/ nursery. This may include:

  • Assessments and resources

  • Delivery of interventions (may consist of individual or group sessions)

  • Reports on request

  • Input to MDT meetings and EHCP reviews

  • Planning and reviewing provision plan targets

  • Specialist support and advice

  • Staff coaching or team teaching.

  • A consistent and innovative Therapist who will work closely with the settings SEN team.

  • Delivery of training including Twilight sessions

  • Running parent workshops/ coffee mornings with an SLCN focus.

Linked Communication can offer school/ nursery contracts which are straightforward and cost-effective We offer a range of options ensuring you pay only for the provision you receive and there are no hidden costs such as sick pay, annual leave, maternity costs, therapists supervision or training. Standard assessments and resources are included; Occasionally, the SaLT may recommend a specific resource, communication aid or external training package that may benefit a child/ young person or the whole setting, and this would then be the responsibility of the school/ nursery to pay for.

Buy-in options

This will include flexible SaLT consultancy at an hourly rate. This may consist of: anonymous case discussions, support with target setting and learning outcomes, advice on resources to support the young person, reviewing progress etc.

Flexible buy-in

This would include a block of SaLT input e.g., you may have a child who requires a block of speech intervention, therefore you pay only for this block which is usually 6 weeks x 1 hour, totalling 6 hours. There will be a reduced rate for this service.

Block of therapy

This will include a SaLT working at your school/ nursery across the academic year usually within term time. This may consist of a full working week to specific days from 1-5 days. Times range from a morning or afternoon session or both depending on school requirements.
