Autism Assessment for Children & Adults
Autism can affect how people communicate, learn, behave, and socially interact. People may have repetitive and characteristic patterns of behaviour or narrow interests. Symptoms are usually present from early childhood and affect daily functioning. Both children and adults can have Autism and there can be differences in how this presents in males and females.
Choose a questionnaire below to determine whether you or someone you know may have behaviours that indicate the potential for Autism.

What’s involved in an ADOS?
During the session, there will be various questions asked, and it is a chance for the clinician to get to know you or your child. There are no right or wrong answers to questions during the assessment. Everything is useful information for the clinician as we are simply trying to gather what you or your child finds easy and challenging.
As well as conversation, there are also some tasks. Some of the tasks will be done with the clinician, others will be done independently.
Is there anything I need to know about the ADOS?
The ADOS usually takes between 40-60 minutes and is carried out in a distraction-free clinical environment.
If the ADOS is carried out at home or school, it is best to choose a room, in which feels comfortable.
